ABOUT ASAHI BEER USA / OCTOPI BREWING

Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi Brewing has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi — brewers of Asahi Super Dry — acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the-art facility. Our Brewhouse team turns raw ingredients into the wort that becomes every batch we brew.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our brewhouse keeps the entire brewing process moving — turning raw ingredients into finished wort that feeds every batch downstream. We're looking for a Brewhouse Brewer to help keep that process precise, efficient, and in spec.

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE GREAT

• Own the very first step of the brewing process — from raw material intake to finished wort

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Learn, understand, and operate all brewhouse piping and equipment

• Execute efficient brewing operations from raw material intake to finished wort

• Own yeast propagation from start to finish

• Perform routine quality checks, basic maintenance, and CIP on brewhouse equipment and piping

• Keep accurate brewing logs and sanitation records every shift

WHAT YOU BRING

Must-haves:

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 55 lbs / moving 165 lbs as needed

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management

• Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing or manufacturing setting

• Flexibility to work various shifts and prioritize shifting tasks

Nice-to-haves:

• 2–3 years of experience in a brewing environment

• Degree in Brewing Science/Technology

CURRENTLY HIRING FOR

• 2nd Shift | Monday – Thursday | 4pm – 2am — Opening available

• Weekend Day | Friday – Sunday | 6am – 6pm — Opening available

PAY BY SHIFT  

Pay starts at $22.00/hr - $26.00/hr based on experience, with growth up to $34.00/hr through our tiered Brewer Career Matrix — whether you build that experience here or bring it with you , already brewed. Shifts outside of 1st shift include an additional shift differential on top of that base — never a lower starting rate, just added pay for the shift. 

• 1st Shift — $22.00/hr (minimal base rate) 
• 2nd Shift — $22.00/hr base + $3.00/hr shift differential = $25.00/hr (minimal total rate) 
• 3rd Shift — $22.00/hr base + $4.00/hr shift differential = $26.00/hr (minimal total rate) 
• Weekend Day — $22.00/hr base + $5.75/hr shift differential = $27.75/hr (minimal total rate) 
• Weekend Night — $22.00/hr base + $7.75/hr shift differential = $29.75/hr (minimal total rate) 

Full-time, non-exempt
