We are seeking energetic, reliable, and hardworking Cashiers to deliver exceptional customer service in our fast-paced restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions with precision
• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service throughout their visit
• Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and pricing to answer customer questions
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including cash register stations and customer seating areas
• Execute proper food safety and sanitation procedures according to health department standards
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous cashier or customer service experience in food service environment preferred
• Strong mathematical skills for handling cash transactions and making change
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills
• Experience with restaurant POS systems
• Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience in Mexican cuisine or similar fast-casual dining
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with cash registers and POS systems
• Basic computer skills for order processing
• Understanding of payment processing procedures
• Knowledge of food safety protocols
• Ability to operate basic restaurant equipment

Schedule and Compensation

We offer both full-time and part-time positions with flexible scheduling options. Day, night, and overnight shifts are available to accommodate various availability preferences. Competitive hourly compensation ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
