ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a systems-driven Creative Performance Design Lead to own and scale the team's delivery standard — quality, speed, and efficiency — across motion and static ad creative for one of our core D2C subscription products. You will be fully responsible for the standard the team ships to, the production stack it runs on, and the pace at which strong creative moves from brief to launch.
Someone focused on bringing results - in velocity and quality - and who brings a fresh, innovative approach to routine processes while owning their team's work end to end. The bar is high and so is the upside — performance here is directly and significantly rewarded, and strong operators take on bigger scope fast.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Performance & Delivery Standard
- Define and enforce quality standards for motion and static creative through review and coaching
- Own the team's delivery speed — how fast strong creative moves from brief to launch
- Scale creative output without scaling headcount
Operational Stack & AI Workflows
- Own the team's production stack and keep it ahead of market standards
- Evaluate, roll out, and train the team on AI-assisted creative workflows
- Build reusable systems and templates that reduce manual production work
Performance-Driven Direction
- Translate performance data (CTR, CVR, CPA by concept and market) into concrete creative direction
- Partner with the user acquisition team, turning their data insights directly into creative direction
- Own localization QA across markets, formats, and networks
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must-Have Experience
- 3+ years in design across motion and static formats
- 2+ years leading a design or creative team, ideally at a fast-growing startup or scale-up where you built process as the team grew
- Experience training or leading others on AI-assisted creative workflows, not just using AI tools yourself
- Hands-on daily fluency in motion and static design tools
- Track record in performance creative specifically, with a portfolio showing measurable results not brand or general marketing content
Leadership Attributes
- Sets a high standard and holds strong designers accountable to it
- Willing to roll up their sleeves and personally contribute to the work when it's critical
- Direct communicator who operates effectively in a remote environment
LOCATION
Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
