This client is a locally based, nonprofit healthcare organization. Their health system includes two hospitals, a 100-provider primary and specialty care medical group, a cancer center; and a new medical fitness center.



Job Title: Employee Health Support RN
Location: Fairfield, CA 94534
Duration: 2 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite





JOB SUMMARY:

• Assists with the care and management of the employee's health.
• Primary focus is support of Employee Health clinics including but not limited to Flu and Respiratory Fit Testing.
• Assists with back up tasks to the Employee Health RN Coordinators as requested only for support of new hires medical clearance review, work injuries, exposures, return-to-work, fitness for duty, organizational requirements and wellness initiatives.
• Supports employee health clinics for Flu and Respiratory fit.
• Supports other Employee Health activities or clinic initiatives.
• Assists in promoting health services to employees that meet established medical standards, OSHA regulations and organizational policies.
• Patricipates in Performance Improvement activities.
• Participates actively on assigned committees or projects, as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Knowledge in Worker's Compensation regulations and claims experience strongly preferred.
• Clinical skills and injections. Ability to run specific clinics and document results in computer. OJT training will be provided for specified software.

Education:

• Education: BSN required. Graasduated from an accredited nursing school or college. Certification in Occupational Health nursing preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Active, unrestricted California RN license required. License must be in good standing throughout employment. AHA or equivalent BLS required.
• Experience: Three years professional-level experience in clinical nursing required. One year of Employee and Occupational Health nursing preferred. One year of case management experience preferred.
