Job Requirements
Educational Attainment: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Electrical trades, or a
Graduate degree. Certification or vocational course in Housekeeping or Hotel
Management is an advantage.
Experience: Minimum 2 3 years' experience in a similar FMCG warehousing /
supply chain environment.
Certifications/Training Needed: Knowledgeable in the operation of cleaning
machinery (floor mops, industrial laundry machines, etc.); experienced with
different cleaning chemicals and their specifications; basic computer operating
knowledge.
Behavioral Qualities/Traits: Able to communicate and follow instructions in
English; confident and responsive under pressure; highly organized, action-
oriented, and able to focus on key objectives within specific timeframes.
Job Description
The Housekeeping Staff member will clean the factory and accommodation facilities in
line with company SOPs and guidance from the Housekeeping In-charge.
General Responsibilities
1. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors across Office Area, Tea Room, Production
Area, Hopper Area, Warehouse, G+2 Area, Staff Accommodation, Guest Rooms,
Sports Room, Gym Facility, and Laundry area as per approved SOPs.
2. Gather, empty, segregate, and dispose of trash per approved procedures.
3. Follow procedures for chemical cleaning and power equipment use to prevent
damage to floors and fixtures.
4. Ensure safety when using electrical appliances to avoid creating hazards.
5. Mix water with detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions,
strictly per specifications.
6. Notify the Housekeeping In-charge of any need for minor/major repairs.
7. Spray insecticides or fumigants to prevent insect or rodent infestation, when
required.
8. Drive cleaning machines wherever needed to maintain cleanliness.
9. Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery using mowers and hand/power trimmers;
clear debris from grounds as needed.
10. Clean the drainage system as and when required.
11. Clean all equipment, mops, buckets, and materials used before the end of the
duty schedule.
