  • Maintaining accurate employee, applicant, and program information in spreadsheets, HR systems, and internal tracking tools.
  • Drafting routine employee communications, onboarding materials, job postings, reminders, and periodic email updates.
  • Supporting recruiting by organizing applications, updating candidate trackers, and communicating with applicants.
  • Researching HR, scheduling, timekeeping, and other systems that could improve company operations.
  • Assisting with internal projects such as company merchandise, office materials, incoming mail, and document organization.
  • Providing general administrative, research, and writing support as assigned.

The intern may also take ownership of individual projects based on their skills, interests, and the needs of the firm.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, or recently graduated.
  • Interest in human resources, business operations, political consulting, campaigns, public service, or organizational management.

  • Good judgment and the ability to handle employee information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently while asking questions when additional guidance is needed.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with spreadsheets, email marketing platforms, HR systems, recruiting platforms, or database management is helpful but not required.
