Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of service technicians and support staff, including providing training and conducting performance evaluations

  • Oversee and prioritize service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Identify potential operational issues and implement innovative solutions to maintain smooth service delivery
  • Collaborate with sales and parts departments to enhance customer satisfaction and support business growth
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures within the service team
  • Manage scheduling, dispatching of technicians, and allocation of resources to maximize productivity
  • Monitor technician performance, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and support ongoing professional development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly
  • Analyze service-related reports and key performance indicators to evaluate departmental performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in service management

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a service management role, preferably within a related industry
  • Strong technical background and understanding of service processes
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
