Design Manager - Commercial Fire Protection Full-Time | Four-Day Workweek | Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Design Manager to lead commercial fire protection design operations within a structured, team-oriented environment. This is a leadership role designed for someone who wants responsibility, stability, and balance.

This is not a production-only drafting role. This position carries influence, visibility, and impact across projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

Oversee commercial fire protection design projects from concept through completion

Manage and mentor design team members

Participate in coordination meetings with contractors and project stakeholders

Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards

Support backlog management and workflow planning

Maintain professional communication in high-accountability construction environments

Qualifications

5 to 10 years of experience in commercial fire protection design

NICET Level III or IV preferred

Strong knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards

Experience interfacing with contractors and project managers

Professional presence with the ability to operate effectively in construction settings
