Do you speak English & German?

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Wardrobe Stylist Intern to join our team. This position is strictly unpaid for non-students and available only to students who can receive academic credit from their accredited college or university. This program is structured as an extension of your classroom education, providing hands-on training, direct mentorship, and a comprehensive overview of the fashion styling industry.

We specialize in high-end editorial magazine shoots, commercial campaigns, celebrity styling, and productions across film, television, and theater.

This position is structured as an unpaid, mandatory internship ( Pflichtpraktikum ).  You will receive comprehensive mentorship and work directly alongside a industry-leading professional on high-profile sets throughout North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).

Our professional photo and styling studio is based in Selm, Germany. Educational Learning Objectives
  • Multidisciplinary Styling: Observe and learn how styling parameters shift between static editorial magazines, dynamic film/TV sets, and high-visibility live theater environments.
  • Luxury Garment & Costume Care: Receive direct instruction on the handling, steaming, textile properties, and custom alteration preparation of high-end couture, historical costumes, and commercial garments.
  • Showroom & PR Logistics: Understand how European PR networks function by learning to navigate showroom databases, sample trafficking logs, and luxury brand loan agreements.
  • Visual Conceptualization: Shadow the lead creative team to see how initial creative mood boards progress into finished, published commercial campaigns.

  • Key Responsibilities (Under Direct Supervision)
    • Sample & Inventory Coordination: Help log, organize, and track wardrobe pieces utilizing the studio’s digital inventory systems.
    • On-Set Technical Support: Assist in prepping wardrobe styling kits (pins, tape, clips) and steaming garments prior to active takes.
    • Production Logistics Support: Assist with the pickup and return preparation of apparel samples from regional showrooms across NRW.
    • Creative Research: Conduct guided trend and brand research to assist the lead styling team in assembling pitch decks for upcoming commercial and celebrity client projects.
    Requirements & Qualifications
    • Enrollment Status: Current enrollment in an accredited university or vocational school program (e.g., Fashion Design, Fashion Journalism, Textile Management, Costume Design, or Visual Media).
    • Documentation: Provision of an official university certification ( Pflichtpraktikumsnachweis ) confirming that an internship is required by your study regulations ( Studienordnung ).
    • Language Skills: Professional working proficiency in either German or English.
    • Personal Traits: Strong organizational mindset, high reliability, and a deep passion for the business of fashion and entertainment media.
    • Mobility: Flexibility to travel to local sets and studio locations across North Rhine-Westphalia (holding a valid driver’s license is a plus).
    What We Offer
    • Unrivaled Exposure: Direct portfolio-building experience across multiple elite styling verticals (editorial, television, celebrity).
    • Creative Network: Ongoing connections with leading photographers, directors, talent, and modeling agencies across the German media landscape.
    • Mentorship: A structured learning program with regular feedback sessions to help advance your career milestones.
    • Official Recognition: A formal internship certificate ( Praktikumszeugnis ) outlining your learning accomplishments.
