Looking for a local dedicated grocery run where you can sleep in your own bed after every single shift? We have immediate openings on our dedicated fleet running straight out of Opelika, Alabama. Pull loaded grocery trailers across regional metro lanes while enjoying zero physical unloading and flexible schedule options to hit your financial goals.

Pay & Financial Package

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,200 to $1,500 gross per week (~$62,400 – $78,000 annually)
• Flexible Earnings Options:
  • 5-Day Schedule: Earn $800 – $1,200/week + $10.00 for every stop completed
  • 6-Day Schedule: Earn $1,300 – $1,550/week + $10.00 for 1st stop / $15.00 for all remaining stops
• Short-Haul Premium: Extra +$40.00 short-haul fee for any runs under 51 miles
• Weekly Distance: Consistent average of 1,200 to 1,800 miles per week

The Work & Daily Loop

• Home Time: 100% Home Daily,  finish your dispatch and sleep in your own bed every day
• ~$62,400 – $78,000+ per year  (depending on 5-day vs 6-day dispatch preference and short-haul bonuses)
• Running Area: Delivering loaded grocery trailers from Opelika to store networks around Atlanta, Birmingham, and South Georgia
• Freight Handling: 100% No-Touch Freight (Mix of standard live loads, live unloads, and drop-and-hook, no physical labor required)
• Equipment & Operations: Slip-seat account sharing daycabs with drivers on opposite shifts; runs involve backhauls on return trips and standard dock wait times

Shift, Schedule & Operational Realities

• Shift Availability: 24/7 account operations offer both Day Shifts and Night Shifts
• Calendar Cadence: Weekend work and holiday dispatches are standard to keep freight moving
• Schedule Flexibility: Choose between 5-day or 6-day dispatch rotations based on your weekly earnings targets

Qualifications & Hiring Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card (No special endorsements required)
• Screening: Clean driving record and mandatory pre-employment drug screen required.
• Hiring Boundary: Must reside within 40 miles of Opelika, AL (Zip Code: 36801) (Drivers on both sides of the Alabama and Georgia border are eligible)
• Flexible Experience Tiers:
  • Trainee Tier: 0 months experience welcome! (Must hold a valid CDL-A)
  • Experienced Tier: First-seat experienced drivers fully considered
  • (Please Note: Team operations and owner-operators are closed on this fleet, solo company drivers only)
